Deletion Unnecessary
[edit]This is an established organisation that has been running for over 20 years. There have been notable members of the organisation such as Inayat Bunglawala active in mainstream British media. There is no reason for deletion, rather improvement. usayd (talk) 20:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

- Do you have references, which would show the notability of the article, I could only find an article in the UK Independent? It is me i think (talk) 12:09, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

- Two points, firstly please refer to Jihad article to understand what exactly Jihad is. YMUK does not advocate Jihad and you must refer to the current website. Secondly there is a difference between YMO and YMUK they are two different organisations. The references to YMO in Ed Hussains book are not references to YMUK. usayd (talk) 10:33, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- thanks for the point that YMO and YMUK are different organizations. Do you have a credible source that would contradict the UK Independent article which says YMUK does not advocate Jihad? thanks It is me i think (talk) 11:54, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- "These extremist ideas that state innocent civilians can be legitimate targets for attack have no support among scholarly circles, and never did." - ISB/YM Publication on Terrorism. This details the Islamic perspective on terrorism which is the organisations point of view. usayd (talk) 15:48, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
