Moved from article

[edit]

I have moved the following content here because it lacks context/explanation. If anyone wants to use it to improve the article, here it is. -- Ed (Edgar181) 16:06, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Naming: ThioTEPA or thiotepa?

[edit]

Ah, thiotepa is the INN (which is admitted in the article) and the drug isn't well-known enough for me to believe this could be a common name exception to the general rule that we use the INN. Besides in Martindale the thioTEPA name appears absolutely nowhere so I doubt it's even a mildly common name as Martindale usually lists all synonyms. Is it just Tallman lettering? I wouldn't think it's appropriate in an encyclopedia. 194.176.105.146 (talk) 12:31, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Thiotepa" is indeed the INN and the appropriate title of the article per WP:MOSPHARM, though "thioTEPA" is used in some of the references. I have moved the article to the standard capitalization. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:14, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
