In 1860, he owned four slaves (65 and 25 year old Black women and 2 and 5-year-old girls).

What's with all this quoting of slave-numbers? Is it meant to represent penalty-points on the Woke scale? I think the category American slave owners should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 19:32, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
