Initial comments[edit]

Lead[edit]

  • I would expand the lead a little so it summarises the article better. For example how was it received by critics? When and where did she perform this live? The lead could easily be expanded by shifting some content around
Critics response is cited, and I only found sources which mention the song in their setlists for two tours.
  • "by Virgin Records commercially in Netherlands, while in the United States" - why are only these two countries mentioned? How was the song received by countries outside the US and Netherlands? Did it peak in other charts?
Because it received commercial release only in Netherlands and was sent to radio in the US.
  • Was there a music video with this?
There wasn't.

Body[edit]

  • ""Throb" begins with Jackson commanding "come for me"" - commanding who? Her partner?
 Fixed
  • "An exclusive remix of "Throb", the Morales Badyard Mix, was included on Jackson's remix compilation album Janet Remixed in 1995. Peter Rauhofer remixed "Throb" in 2013 and released the remix on Valentine's Day" - are we talking about the same remix here?
They are two different remixes made by two different DJs.
  • "Philadelphia Daily News 's Chuck Arnold called the song" can Philadelphia Daily News  be linked if an article exists?
It is already wikilinked in the previous section, I see no reason to be linked again
Sorry I didn't see that, my fault! Jaguar 18:21, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is there no information on how the song was received outside the US and the Netherlands in the Chart performance section? Nothing in Europe/Australia at all?
No sources found for Netherlands, Europe or Australia.
  • "Credits adapted from "Throb" liner notes" - does this need to be here?
 Fixed

On hold[edit]

A few problems regarding the prose but nothing too major. I would be happy with a lead expansion and a few tweaks so I'll out this on hold for at least seven days. Thanks Jaguar 12:45, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Close - promoted[edit]

I think that's everything addressed now. This article is well written, broad and the references check out now. Ready for GA Jaguar 18:22, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
