I've been unlucking trying to find this enzyme's structure on PDB. Instead, I get a myeloperoxidase, which is surely not the same thing. JFW | T@lk 19:10, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can improvement in iron status improve TPO activity? If yes, how? If no, why?

Should the main page for this enzyme not be iodide peroxidase? This is the accepted name of the Nomenclature Committee of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NC-IUBMB) for thyroid peroxidase (http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/enzyme/EC1/11/1/8.html).

E.J.Hoekstra (talk) 20:56, 9 September 2008 (UTC) I read that this enzyme is also responsible for the coupling of diiodotyrosines to produce T4, so it's more than just an iodine peroxidase, no? Pelirojopajaro (talk) 03:01, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

Subject follows closely with the main article, and does not yet warrant a separate article. Facts707 (talk) 18:00, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It would be appropriate, but I think it would be even better to redirect it to Anti-thyroid autoantibodies. Mikael Häggström (talk) 18:03, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
