Mr. Newsham won a lifetime achievement award this August from the Pwnie Awards at the BlackHat Briefings USA conference, an awards ceremony meant to celebrate the achievements of the computer security community. Computer security is an expert field, so I request that the removal of this page be reviewed by someone in that field. Thanks.

Please show it by pointing to some reliable sources to prove it. Thanks. -- Alexf42 09:47, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a link to a citeseer search showing almost 170 academic papers referencing or citing Newsham's paper. Is that sufficient? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dinodaizovi (talkcontribs) 21:45, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The page says "originally Secure Networks" but should read "Secure Networks, Inc." Secure Networks, Inc. (SNI) was a small canadian software firm based in Calgary, not to be confused with other companies having similar names. Other prominent former employees of SNI include Al Huger, Oliver Friedrichs (security focus and symantec), Jonathan Wilkins (iSEC and MySpace), Tom Ptacek (Matasano). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.235.236.112 (talk) 19:29, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing the notability tag, but I'm not adding sources; instead, here's a link to plenty of primary sources that establish notability: http://news.google.com/archivesearch?hl=en&ned=us&q=%22Tim+Newsham%22&ie=UTF-8 67.176.179.37 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 05:10, 10 February 2009 (UTC).[reply]
