First feral character?
[edit]All super teams seem to have a Wolverine-type feral character at one point or another in their roster. Was Timber Wolf the first? --68.103.154.140 18:43, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Londo.JPG
[edit]Image:Londo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wolverine
[edit]Are there any influences from Wolverine_(comics) on the development of Timber_wolf or vice versa? Paul Roberton (talk) 09:05, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose its possible, but without a source it's all just original research. Do you have a source? Nutiketaiel (talk) 19:30, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- None whatsoever! I read this article a few nights ago. It occurred to me that Timberwolf's ability to regenerate/heal was similar to Wolverine. From some cursory research it appears that Timberwolf pre-dates Wolverine. So I guess it's a non-issue.Paul Roberton (talk) 23:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, Wolverine was adjusted by Dave Cockrum from Len's original creation in the Hulk, to echo TW. Dave had pitched a Legion Treatment to DC, which DC wasn't interested in. So he rewrote it, substituting the X-Men characters for the Legion. TW was one of Dave's fave Characters and a big part of the Treatment, so he needed a "Body" in the X-Men to fill that part, and he borrowed Len's Wolverine to stand-in for TW.

Request for clean-up by someone familiar with character history
[edit]I've tried to fix it a bit (past tense needs to be moved to present and it's not a "biography" when there are as many reboots as this, but a character history), use of Londo, not Brin). I stopped after the first paragraph because I have no idea what the text is trying to convey and it seems to me like it jumps from original series to 4th in one sentence, and what the heck is an "unseen storyline"? ZarhanFastfire (talk) 16:31, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hey ZarhanFastfire - I tried to "fix" the parts of Timber Wolf's History abridged here, that were relevant with the LOSH and Timber Wolf mini that I wrote. The previous history seems to have been written by someone who hadn't actually read Volume 4 et al, or maybe it was transcribed from somewhere else. I can only assume the rest of the history is a bit questionable. Someone who's more an expert than I am needs to "fix" his Early History and later history. Any help would be appreciated.

@ Drive Spanneraol for removing my Edit
[edit]Why did you remove my Edit to this Timber Wolf page? albabe - The Writer/Artist Formally Known as Al Gordon 17:51, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- You deleted the info box, the categories and much of the content of the page.. Looked like vandalism to me. Spanneraol (talk) 17:57, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- Dang Dang Dang Dang Dang. My bad. I apologize. I was trying to finish my "adjustment" and suddenly had to split from my studio and didn't notice how badly I screwed the pooch. I got some help to fix it - With hope, it's okee now.
