Fair use rationale for Image:CranberriesToTheFaithfulDeparted.JPG

[edit]

Image:CranberriesToTheFaithfulDeparted.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:TCTTFDCOVER.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]

An image used in this article, File:TCTTFDCOVER.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: All Wikipedia files with unknown copyright status

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Q magazine's worst albums ever

[edit]

Removing from lede. This is nowhere near due, and suggests that it is a summary of a section in the article somewhere, where the album has been given a shower of bad reviews, which is far from being the case. A brief look at one or two of the other reviews listed in this very article show that the album received praise and performed reasonably well in the charts. The removed material may be reinstalled (non-definitively) if anyone cares to write a critical reception section. Edaham (talk) 01:17, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Packaging description

[edit]

Hello. The description of the album photography which seems to have first been added with the edit on 07:28, 27 August 2015 describes an image of a baby urinating into the air. At least for Island catalog# 314-524-234-2, while the image does feature a baby, the baby is not urinating. The baby is laying down on purple satin in a nest wreathed by yellow flowers, with the nest itself laying on a sidewalk at the corner of a city intersection. The purple and yellow are evocative of the clothing and room the Cranberries are using on the cover. It appears this catalog number was used for the Canada and United States of America releases of this album. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:nHxuXauff6oJ:https://www.discogs.com/The-Cranberries-To-The-Faithful-Departed/master/51360%2Bisland+%22314-524-234-2%22&gbv=1&hl=en&ct=clnk — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.20.78.10 (talk) 04:55, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
