Toluene diisocyanate is in the news about the explosion at Tianjin, China[edit]

It is claimed to react violently with water. It would be nice if this Wikipedia entry could contain some information on this reaction. --Becalmed (talk) 02:35, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

The references indicate it was in the warehouse not that it caused it. Being stored in a warehouse is not notable and I may remove the sentence on that basis.JSR (talk) 17:03, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
