Dubious
[edit]This article contained a claim that Childs was a member of both the Arizona Territorial Legislature and the Arizona Legislature. I have done a fair amount of work dealing with Arizona Territorial politics and own several hardcopy sources listing membership of the territorial legislature. While there was a Eugene W. Childs in the 22nd Arizona Territorial Legislature, no one named Tom Childs ever served in any of the territorial legislature's 25 sessions. As a result I have removed the claim of membership in the territorial legislature. I am unable to fully refute the claim Childs served in the state legislature but am unable to locate his name in The Political Graveyard, Ballotpedia, and other web sites with extensive lists of former politicians. As the claim he served in the Arizona Legislature is unsourced, and Childs' name does not appear in places where it would be expected if he had, I have tagged the claim with {{dubious}}. --Allen3 talk 11:54, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
