Citations provided

[edit]

Citations were already in place with respect to critical reviews of Santopietro's work. I provided additional citations, tag thus removed.

I also reverted the removal of the word "Theater" from the section "Broadway Theater." This initial removal was made without any comment on this talk page (not a mortal sin, but it always helps). The word "Broadway," on its own, is less specific and descriptive of the particular subject matter. Clarity and precision suggest "Broadway Theater."Nelsondenis248 (talk) 21:34, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Godfather Effect (image of book cover)

[edit]

I was the initial uploader of the image of The Godfather Effect bookcover. An editor this image of The Godfather Effect bookcover, with no accompanying entry onto thie talk page. The edit summary stated that Tom Santopietro was not included in the fair use rationale, in the image photo file.

I therefore returned to the image file and included Tom Santopietro (the author of the book) into the "intended use" for the photo.

As I noted before on this talk page, I would appreciate a Talk Page entry for major changes/reversions that are made to this page. This enables me or other editors to respond more effectively to the concerns of another editor. Thank you. Nelsondenis248 (talk) 00:10, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citations restored

[edit]

I just restored three citations from the Library Journal, which document the press response to Tom Santopietro's biographical works.

In-line citations from key, professional sources such as the Library Journal should not be removed, especially when no rationale or accompanying entry is provided on this talk page.

Rockefellers in the Godfather

[edit]

Both the Godfather article and this article state, "This insight is bluntly stated by Michael Corleone, who recommends that Italian-Americans 'must learn from the philanthropists like the Rockefellers – first you rob everybody, then you give to the poor.'" The quote is sourced to Sanpietro, but not the Godfather series itself. Where does Corleone say that?Arnold Rothstein1921 (talk) 05:12, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Book cover

[edit]

Image is properly licensed. It is not a "decorative" photo placement, since the entire accompanying text (several paragraphs with extensive in-line citations) is precisely about this book. Sarason (talk) 07:22, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
