Watermelon Tootsie Pops

I can confirm this one right now, as I just ate a watermelon flavored tootsie pop, and am looking at the the wrapper as I type.

Family Guy

The Family Guy episode "Let's Go to the Hop" had a public service announcement parodying the commercial about how many licks of a toad it takes to be imprisoned. Whether or not this should be mentioned in the article itself, (under Trivia if it should be) it does not matter to me as the episode article already links to this article. See the What links here on the toolbox when viewing the article (to the left if you're using monobook.css). sizes

Aren't there two sizes of Tootsie Pops? Besides the official miniatures, it seems like the pops you get in a bulk bag are smaller than the ones that are for sale individually in some stores. Where can you get a quantity of big ones?

Lemon Tootsie Pops

My memory of Tootsie Pops go back to the late 1960s. I recall there was a lemon flavored pop, and the raspberry version didn't show up til 1975 or so.

The lemon pop's color was not so much yellow, as slightly browny chartreuse, due to the tootsie roll being opaquely visible within. Probably not incredibly good looking to the over-16 crowd; perhaps that's a reason for the flavor's demise.

Name

Very technically, the true name of the candy is "Tootsie Roll Pop," as confirmed by the wrapper. This article contains a couple of references to that name; however, most of the references, as well as the name of the article itself, refer to the more popular term "Tootsie Pop." I would like to suggest that the article and references be changed to refer to "Tootsie Roll Pop" and that a section be added to explain this. Comments? Cjkporter 22:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tootsie Pop in México

Tootsie Pops in México don't have a Tootsie Roll in the center, instead they come with bubble gum, the "standard" flavor is cherry, altough there are other flavors (usually found in bags).Vicco Lizcano 16:16, 14 February 2007 (UTC) ^{(Tell me where I'm wrong)}[reply]
