Translation

I followed several parts of the translation and they seem pretty accurate to me to the extent that I can make sense of the Neapolitan dialect of the original text. More questionable seem to me some words of that text, such as the elision "Vir'o" (Pavarotti seems to pronounce "Vide'o") and very few others. Merging

A suggestion was made to merge Elvis Presley's "Surrender" here. I think a link is just fine. But I am against merging the Elvis Surrender as the latter is quite independent really. A cross referencing is good enough. Keep two separate articles. werldwayd (talk) 01:14, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Other Elvis songs adapted from older songs (e.g. "It's Now or Never" or "Can't Help Falling in Love") also have their own article, and I think they should have their own, because other than the melody this is really a different composition. --The Evil IP address (talk) 04:41, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Completely different Italian Lyrics

I have sheet music with different Italian lyrics. Same basic sentiment. Anyone know why it’s different from the original?

Different lyrics as follows:
