Fair use rationale for Image:Tacflogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Tacflogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Financial Disclosure

[edit]

I think that the financial disclosure, although interesting, is not relavent for an encyclopedic article of a church. It may be relavent for a company that is reknown for its financial prominence or difficulties, but it does not add anything to an article for a church. I will remove that section if no discussion ensues on reasons why to keep it in. Silpheed (talk) 13:56, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since no one has objected, I have removed it. Silpheed (talk) 18:04, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Miracles?

[edit]

"In March 1999, it was the site of allegedly instantaneous and medically documented dental miracles including amalgam fillings or porcelain crowns being supernaturally changed to high-quality gold." This should have some sort of source I think. 74.210.120.91 (talk) 19:10, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Roo[reply]

I agree with 74.210.120.91. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.1.169 (talk) 12:08, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change

[edit]

What is the best way to update this page to reflect the new name (Catch The Fire Toronto)? People will continue to look for this church under both names. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shearstock (talkcontribs) 01:26, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Using redirects is the best way to refer a reader between alternate terms for the same organization. Since the org's name has changed, it probably makes sense to move the article to the new name (this is done with the move button at the top of the page). Names?

[edit]

Prior to "Toronto Airport Christian" wasnt it also known as "Vineyard Christian Fellowship"? Or "Christian Vineyard"?

This confusion should be cleared up.

Henry123ifa (talk) 18:12, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is mentioned in the history section. Before the revival started, the church was a member of the Vineyard Movement and had "Vineyard" in its name. However, as the revival progressed, John Wimber and others in the movement became increasingly uncomfortable with the direction of the revival, so the church left the Vineyard and dropped the "Vineyard" label. Some of the references seem to come from possibly unreliable sources, such as the Golden Sword Prophesy. Additionally, some of the external links no longer work. TexanBackpacker (talk) 07:09, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
