Derivation
[edit]I'm pretty sure the derivation assumes v_1=0 by taking the pressure at the bottom to be \rho*g*h, so it is wrong and confusing. The result says that a larger aperture yields a stronger stream, which is counter-intuitive and not conserving energy.
