"He is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.[5][6][7]"
I would like to propose an amendment to this sentence by dropping the word, "Widely". Many fans will dispute this argument that Triple H is widely regarded as the G.O.A.T. There are many wrestlers that widely considered the GOAT, such as Stonecold Steve Austin, The Rock, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Ric Flair, Bruno Sanmartinno, John Cena, Kurt Angle. 81.44.140.237 (talk) 12:53, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- The key part of this is "one of the". The sources establish him as one of the greatest of all time, not the greatest. — Czello 13:39, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- Can you point to where the sources establish that? The ESPN citation doesn't seem to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonas42 (talk • contribs) 13:50, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
- Fair point, I've checked and the source doesn't support this. I've removed it. — Czello 14:52, 13 November 2022 (UTC)

- I've restored it without the ESPN source since it didn't support the claim, however it is sourced in the 'Legacy in wrestling' section. RF23 (talk) 04:57, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

- Done. I also added a citation to the WWE website that is more easily verifiable than the video production of the event.[1]

Why triple h is called the game edit
in the interview with JR where triple h dubbed himself the game it was actually because JR said he was a student of the game and he replied "I am not just a student of the game, I am the f*cking game!" 2601:410:280:4CB0:C1EA:36B4:5157:7121 (talk) 16:07, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

Triple H → Paul Levesque – Recent media appearances by Levesque have seen him be referred to as either Paul Levesque or Paul "Triple H" Levesque. There is clearly an effort as of late for him to not be referred to exclusively by his ring name and the article being titled by his wrestling name may not be WP:PRECISE enough. In more recent years, Levesque has been known more as an executive in professional wrestling versus as an in-ring performer under the name Triple H. We don't have Dwayne Johnson underneath his ring name of The Rock and I think that a change of title for Levesque for similar reasons would be consistent with wrestlers who have since become more notable for contributions outside the ring in capacities where they don't use their ring name. PaulRKil (talk) 20:48, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest names in Hollywood while Paul Levesque's corporative leadership is relatively unknown to the general public compared to his wrestling work. The name did make recent mainstream headlines due his comments on Vince McMahon allegations and maybe one day it will notable enough, but for now Triple H is a far bigger name. BinaryBrainBug (talk) 22:36, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
PS: his X username and name are Triple H as well right now. BinaryBrainBug (talk) 22:44, 2 February 2024 (UTC)- Oppose obviously not the WP:COMMONNAME — Czello (music) 22:45, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. Johnson became one of the most known actors in the world. Also, he stills making appearences as Triple H. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 08:41, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose: recent references to him under his real name do not negate the decades that he's been established under his ring name. He is clearly far more notable as Triple H. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 18:03, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. If you show someone a picture of him, what are they most likely to say? Paul Levesque? Highly unlikely. It’s Triple H Jrock826 (talk) 00:20, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
