NPOV

[edit]

I fixed this up a bit and added a little more information. I left the neutrality tag up...someone else besides me can determine that much.

Seriously, that's it? One sentence? This is a ridiculously short article, and is quite cleary not a neutral point of view. user:Rebochan

Darren Ewing

[edit]

I think u guys should remove redirected Darren Ewing to this film because he is not Troll 2, he's just an actor for this film. He should have his own section in wikipedia and not share with this movie.

Neutrality?

[edit]

I tagged this page with a Neutrality dispute. Should we really consider the statement, "people who like trashy movies" neutral?

ClintFord 15:45, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging Troll 2 with a neutrality dispute because someone suggested it was a "trashy movie" shows that Wikipedia is run by a bunch of complete nincompoops.

The above is a non sequitor, or something spelled very much like it. How can there be no page for the original 'Troll'? That film was great!

Well, it seems that the NPOV dispute has been cleared up so I have removed the tag. - AdelaMae (talk - contribs) 11:42, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Trashy might be a bit harsh, but this movie is generally seen as one of the worst, if not the worst movie ever made. There are a lot of people (myself included) who actively seek out truly bad movies. Some movies are so bad they are good, this is so horrible it is wonderful. I loved the part where the father says "At this time of night, they are probably all asleep". What makes it funny is that you can see that it is obviously about noon. These must be the laziest farmers in the world.--RLent 18:43, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that it is voted by many, many people as the worst movie ever made (usually is number one on IMDB although lately is has dropped... although it is usually on the BOTTOM 20) means that there are a lot of people who "enjoy" this movie a lot, and there is a huge fan base, so it's no surprise that there is a lot of things written about this movie, "trashy" or otherwise. Also, there is a page for the original Troll. Seandusk 9:37, 14 September 2007

Even without the "Trashy movie" statement, I don't think the plot section is neutral at all. It doesn't matter how bad it is, Wikipedia content must be neutral. Deftera (talk) 23:35, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal

[edit]

Just took out the line "exploitation actress" and replaced it with "erotic actress". This is why I think wikipedia will never be a reliable source and is much a waste of time, and this is why I spend so much time finding these little things to fix. If you see it again, please revert it. JayKeaton 05:35, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well...the reception section appears to have been altered...rotfl...i give them crdis for actually being funny about it, but i'd say it's probably false info.TheBlueHeel (talk) 17:40, 22 May 2009 (UTC) TheBlueHeel[reply]

Removed Line

[edit]

I just removed this line: "and is rated on the list not to have been featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000" because it did not make any sense. Feel free to make it more coherent and add it back in. --Thisisbossi 01:11, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Goblin as title

[edit]

When videos go up for the Boston screening I can hopefully source this. I was there this weekend and the cast members told us both that the movie was supposed to be called Goblin and that some international VHS releases had that name. Michael said he owned the VHS with that name during the Q&A, and Darren told us later that it was the name for the script as well. Onikage725 20:53, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Breakfast in the Ruins blog

[edit]

This blog does not actually seem to mention any of the things it is used to cite. It touches on the writer calling everyone dogs, but even that isn't quite the same between the two sources. Beyond that, it doesn't seem to fit WP:Source for reliability. This does not seem to be a case where a self-published blog should be accepted.

I'd be bold and fix it, but I don't really know how.75.120.186.51 (talk) 23:57, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
