Nedfield → Tulip Computers – The name Tulip Computers has some historical significance, the name Nedfield has none. All remarkable achievements of the company, including the production of the System-1, were made in the period the name was Tulip (27 years). For the whole period the company was called Nedfield (1 year), all that was left of it was an empty financial shell. The only name which deserves to be remembered in an encyclopaedia is Tulip.
