From Africa?

I've marked the statement concerning Turbo Tennis's African origins as dubious. I can't prove it or disprove it, but it sounds resonably implausible (though not wildly) and even if it is true, is pretty useless - people seem to forget that Africa isn't a country but a massive continent.
