Designer

[edit]

Should we say that the designer was Marlow or Noble? While Noble designed the Sport (which Marlow bought the rights to and fitted SBCs), extensive redesign work was done by Marlow and his team resulting in the GTR. Meio 04:25, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably best to list both. -BMan1113VR 07:56, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps best to change it to "Noble (original Sports model), Marlow (extant GTR model)" or similar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.6.43.230 (talk) 12:47, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Busy right now, I will add in this reference for the designer when I have the chance to format it properly: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/ultima-gtr-specialty-file Meio (talk) 14:35, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

German

[edit]

The German page is much better than this one (from the little I can understand). Does anybody fancy translating it into English and replacing this current English page? Meio 17:04, 1 March 2007 (UTC) Scratch that, I just ran the German page through babelfish and it seems that it is merely organised into sections better, with some more technical detail. Veyron

[edit]

To the anon who put the Veyron time in here, remember that this is an encyclopedia, if the Veyron has officially set a new time please write a proper section indicating that while the GTR might have held the 0-60mph record for a while it has since been surpassed by the Veyron, and cite a source indicating officially recognised times. For now your edits have been removed as if they were vandalism.Meio 18:19, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
