Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... UCMMA is regarded as one of the top three mixed martial arts promotions in the United Kingdom along side BAMMA and Cage Warriors. They have a television deal with the UK's leading sporting channel Sky Sports, as well as the fact that UCMMA is actually being run by the same people who owned Cage Rage before ProElite got involved with the promotion. Also many videos of UCMMA fights/activities have appeared on many highly ranked MMA websites such as BJPenn.com as well the show Inside MMA. If sourcing is the reason for this speedy deletion, then I ask all users to give me some time to find better sources to add to the page for notability. All I ask is for this speedy deletion tag to be removed for 7 days, and if the sources does not meet with WP:GNG by this time next week then bring up the speedy deletion tag again and we can talk about its position on here. --Pound4Pound (talk) 11:48, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough - I was going to Afd it but in that case additions tend to get ignored in the debate. With your points another Speedy in 7 days is not the way to go but an AfD after that time will give a chance for consensus.Peter Rehse (talk) 12:29, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
