[edit]I don't see any reliable sources in the article, they are either blogs, self-published, or insignificant mentions. I looked for sources outside but didn't find any. wumbolo ^^^ 16:20, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- Notability is WP:NOTTEMPORARY. Unicorn was an important platform for Ruby on Rails, and I understand it's now deeply unfashionable in favour of newer servers. But that just doesn't matter - it was notable.
- As a Python developer, I've never even used it. But I do know of it from Gunicorn, a server which it inspired. Mostly because of its unusual process model. A model which is still of significance, even if no-one can agree if it's a good or bad idea. But that's just the sort of issue which makes it part of the historical record, like all those bright ideas in the pages of pre-web 1980s Byte which are now so hard to find good descriptions of. - Yes, notability is not temporary, and I would like to see the notability it had. wumbolo ^^^ 18:07, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
