Does someone know if monday july 7th is a leagalholiday? mtitc

Some companies close an extra day to make July 4th a 4-day weekend for employees - if July 7 is a Monday, it means July 4 fell on a Friday. The 7th isn't a legal holiday in the US. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.124.182.98 (talk) 11:45, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Most Regarded Presidents"

[edit]

Is it really relevant to have information about Lincoln and Washington being the most regarded presidents? I think the article explains the act well enough without it. Dustman15 (talk) 19:56, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Opposition to this?

Was there ever (or is there now) any opposition to moving all Holidays to Mondays?? Hamsterlopithecus (talk) 16:55, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Labor Day

[edit]

Labor Day is included in the opening paragraph article but is not mentioned in the “Effects” section. 136.56.131.248 (talk) 01:50, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
