Did this committee exist?
[edit]This article provides no sources or estimated years during which the committee operated. As such, I can find no record of a Senate Select Committee on Disarmament ever having existed. It does not appear in any of National Archives Senate documents or other documents of record, such as the Official Congressional Directory or Walter Stubs's Congressional Committees. An internet search only turns up references back to the Wikipedia article. Could someone please confirm this committee's existence. Otherwise, I will submit the article for deletion and remove the committee from the List of defunct United States Congressional committees.Dcmacnut 20:24, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- It seems to exist, as according to bioguide, Huber Humphrey was chairman of it during the 84th and 85th congresses (http://bioguide.congress.gov/scripts/biodisplay.pl?index=h000953) meamemg 05:04, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
