Dr. Patrinos's comment on this article
[edit]Dr. Patrinos has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:
The current effort section needs an update. It seems selective. What is the criteria? Seems funding and advocacy are equally important here. Fine, but say so. Also, Fast Track Initiative is now called Global Partnership for Education. In any case, largest contributors are families -- directly through fees or taxes, or through their governments. Largest external donor is the World Bank Group. But these figures should be updated with OECD donor spending.
Article should refer to the newly adopted Social Development Goals.
Article should refer to the high returns to schooling, eg, Montenegro, Claudio E. & Patrinos, Harry Anthony, 2014. "Comparable estimates of returns to schooling around the world," Policy Research Working Paper Series 7020, The World Bank.
We hope Wikipedians on this talk page can take advantage of these comments and improve the quality of the article accordingly.
We believe Dr. Patrinos has expertise on the topic of this article, since he has published relevant scholarly research:

MOS Universal Primary Education or Universal primary education
[edit]Has this been considered- was there a concensus. Where do we find the discussion? I was looking at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters for help and guidance. Any thoughts?--ClemRutter (talk) 08:39, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
Advertising tag
[edit]I noticed that the advertising tag was added by @Mean as custard in May 2024. Do you think the advertising tag is still required? I don't see the article as overly promotional now. Whizkin (talk) 06:33, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
