Not this absurd 'first' again!

[edit]

Why do authors insist on writing this drivel? It was not 'first' discovered in 1947, it was discovered in 1947. It was discovered ONCE ONLY, not a first time and a second time (or whatever). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.68.94.86 (talk) 15:01, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, the "first" has been deleted now. EMsmile (talk) 14:26, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I know this is a minor issue, but I noticed the edit boxes are appearing in the wrong place on this page - could it be something to do with the infoboxes' code? I note the first two boxes appear after the first infobox, at least for my browser (Firefox 2.0.0.17) and resolution (1440x900) --Rogerb67 (talk) 14:00, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

sources

Are there any sources for section 3 about the relationship with cancer? 89.31.50.92 (talk) 20:04, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to be the same as PLAU (plasminogen activator, urokinase). I'm not sure how to merge this without messing up all the infoboxes. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 10:26, 31 January 2010 (UTC) I agree with this merge proposal, but am also unsure of the best way in which to do this without messing it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nexxen (talkcontribs) 04:37, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, it would be wrong to merge these articles, Urokinase and PLAU. This article outlines a class of enzymes (EC 3.4.21.73), while the article PLAU has a focus on a specific human gene product, PLAU, from that class. --Dcirovic (talk) 20:39, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eureka?

[edit]

So when was it discovered? TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 13:09, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the two pages should be merged, but if not at least a link to PLAU is in order. Gon-no-suke (talk) 05:31, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Industrial production

[edit]

Could someone please add information how it is nowadays produced industrially? It says that it was produced from urine - is this still the main way of producing this? If so, who collects the urine and where?
