"The crater was discovered in July 1975[2] during a government geological survey and named in honor of Australian John James Veevers who had worked in the area in the late 1980s[3]" There is something wrong here. Reference [2], which was published in 1976 describes the crater as being Veevers Crater, yet reference [3] says that Veevers worked in the area in the late 1980s. I wonder if this is a 'typo' and should really read the 1960s? Greg Winterflood (talk) 08:39, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Resolved. J.J. Veevers worked in the area in the late 1950's. (personal communication, 17 May 2011)

A citation needs to be added at the first mention of JJ Veevers, possibly referring to an online biography?--Greg Winterflood (talk) 00:26, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
