Etymology of 'University ... Trust'
[edit]Hello All,
Where does 'University' fit in the cancer care trust's name? I've found that the starting activity was clinical trials, so I assume that it's affiliated with the biology and medicine departments of a university, but so far, nothing that I've read has told me which one.

- @Dent006.5: The trust was awarded university status by the Welsh Government in 2018.[1][2] I don't think they run undergraduate courses; university status may reflect the nature of their research work. I would expect them to have close links with the Cardiff University School of Medicine in the same city, and a Google search supports this. Verbcatcher (talk) 21:30, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
