are links to businesses allowed? would this not be considered as advertising? if not, then i suppose any other venue finding service can add a link on this article.

Article needed also for umbrella term for "venues for entertainment"

I don't know how exactly to call it, but there is a common concept for

Theater (structure)
Sports venue
Music venue
open-air arena (as of now, open-air theater redirects to amphitheater, which is plain wrong)
etc. (pls check if all other are included, such as multi-purpose arenas, ancient forms,...).
