Wrong information

[edit]

Việt-Võ-Đạo is not a collective term, it is used the first time to indicate the philosophical part of the Vovinam, used by Master Le Sang, that become "Vovinam Việt-Võ-Đạo" . Later in 1970s in Europe the term was misused for indicate such a "collective term" . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.88.251.144 (talk) 02:31, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"insufficient context"

[edit]

This article serves 2 purposes:

  1. It prevents single vietnamese martial arts schools from claiming the name "Viet Vo Dao" - as has happended multiple times
  2. It says "Viet Vo Dao is a vollective term used to cover a number of similar vietnames martial art styles". It then directs to those styles.

Therefore this article does not need any more content. The remaining infomration can be fond in the addressed articles.

Redirect?

[edit]

Not sure why Vota redirected to this article as the term is not listed anywhere. I changed the redirect page to VOTA and placed an Otheruses4 tag on that page just in case people get lost. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
