Straight edge pioneer?

He is also a pioneer for being so devoutly straight-edge while in The Movielife.

I fail to see what this sentence means. Does it imply that there were no people in bands who lived a straight edge lifestyle before him? If so, that's hardly the case. --AndyMcKay 00:15, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
