Scientologist

On 20May06, user 4.158.231.218 added the following edit:

Despite the very Christian messages of the group, Bruce claims to be a very devout Scientologist

Which I believe is a defacement. I don't think anybody in their right mind can accuse ICP of having "Christian" messages, and I find it almost as hard to believe that Joseph Bruce is a Scientologist. This is nonsense.

If you're having a hard time finding christian messages in their "music" i suggest you take a closer look at the lyrics.

On the next day, 21 May 2006, user 71.201.15.251 removed the edit. Rightfully so, until someone can cite evidence. However, there is still a "Scientology tag" associated with this Wikipedia entry.

I'm removing it. If someone truly believes this guy is a scientologist, please give evidence. Until then, the notion is just ridiculous.

As much as i'd love for him to be a scientologist, i find it hard to believe. but if anyone can come up with evidence of this, i'd really like to see it.

[Which I believe is a defacement. I don't think anybody in their right mind can accuse ICP of having "Christian" messages, and I find it almost as hard to believe that Joseph Bruce is a Scientologist. This is nonsense.]

Whom ever may have written this you are a freaking twit and no nothing about religion in the first place, cause if you did you wouldn't have written this. Listen to their music ( I recomend "the Greta Melinko" ( CD #4) and actually understand it... if your small minds can wrap itself around more than just sayin' stuff you no nothing about. If You have any questions and/or comments about what I wrote E-mail me at quadix_fighter@yahoo.com and I will gladly get back to you as soon as possible. Please don't E-mail me if you aren't going to listen and you are looking for an aurgument cause if so...GO TO HELL. and for those who would like to discuss anything else about the topic I'll help you understand if possible. Peace Out Much Clown Love to all you Juggalos and Juggalettes scientogy is gay

well violent J has been quoted in interviews as saying that him and jumpsteady used to read the bible alot as kids, and whereas he may disagree with mainstream christianity on many points, many of the veiws supported in his lyrics are very christian, whereas other views are contradictory to christian morals and beliefs, most of those statements aren't serious (unless he's really suggesting that i should go out and kill people).--69.213.152.186 07:38, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey Dumb asses, he is a christian, just unorthidox!

Violent J

Even Though He Does Talk About Killing People He's Just Like The Rest Of Us He's A Freakin' Human —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.8.236.10 (talk) 03:35, 7 December 2006 (UTC).

This is a juggalo here, Who Ever Wrote that Gunna DIE!!!! HHA!!!Walk into the light!

<jasen> if you really pay attention to the people that they are " killing" in the songs. most are child abusers, child molesters, racist, and the ppl who arnt " enlightened" to the whole humans as a one bieng, or the "other people" its not so much as killing people, as much as killing what they stand for , racism , and abuse. and if you think thats wrong, all you have to do is give the PRO beating , molesting children , killing someone bc of thier color side of the arguement. <crickets>,, thats what i thought,........ we will never die alone. juggalos will carry on. swing our hatchets if we must!

Biased

I read the article, and honestly I shoul've seen this coming. Why does everyone hate ICP? After all, they're about morals and family(believe it or not. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I'm going to edit the page because, someone doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. Basically saying that ICP is "fake" and if you've read the article, whomever edited this is obviously defending Eminem, I'm going to go ahead and change it.

Punk Rock

Okay. I don't know who wrote that. But it's dumb. So it will be removed. There's a reason Vilent J is called a "rapper"

birth

Alright, I checked and multiple sources say that J was born in Berkley, Michigan, this is, I think the third time I have seen it change —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.226.149.3 (talk) 01:18, August 22, 2007 (UTC)

Children

There is nothing here about his family other than his brother. Doesn't this man have children? I believe that this is important to add considering that his children would be part of his life and his biography. 74.243.165.66 18:13, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Grammar

As someone who regularly reads articles here on English Wikipedia, I feel I have to comment about the grammar and layout of this page. Ineffective ordering of ideas and the existence of fragments, misspellings, and other grammatical errors give one the feeling of a forum, not an encyclopedia entry. I believe this article would benefit enormously from restructuring. Intil this is done, the fixing of spelling errors is not quite practical. Zibit (talk) 09:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't know which page your referring to, this or the main page, but I just checked the main page and found 4 errors, two of them were just adding a space. So there is obviously nothing wrong there. Now if your referring to this talk page, then there isn't much to be done. People may not be great spellers and there is nothing you can do about that, all that matters is that the main article is fine. So if you want to complain about spelling, learn to spell "until" then correct the errors yourself. Juggalobrink (talk) 13:36, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Naming

Why is it that J and Shaggy's pages use their birth names, but Madrox and Monoxide's pages use their stage names? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freezing the mainstream (talkcontribs) 03:27, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Solo discography

I do not think that a solo song about Joe,s son exists. Unless there is a citation or a link to this song, I will remove it.

Violent Js solo is out for "08"

Gave away for free at the Gathering. I,m sure the ya,ll can find it. Its dope. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.198.207.11 (talk) 02:35, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Its called Violent J, its whats on the album covers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1WickedClown (talkcontribs) 04:29, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Yea, but it could also be refering to his name. If you play the actual CD in iTunes, the CD is encripted with no title, but all the songs names and guest apprearences are encripted in. That means either they forgot to put a title in, or it has none. We really have no way to tell unless they talk about it.Juggalobrink (talk) 15:44, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

The title should be what's listed on the album's spine. If the album has no artwork (and this seems to be the case as implied here), the title on the CD should be listed. If there is no title, the article name should be under the artist's name unless they say otherwise. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 20:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC))

Told ya, its called Violent J, its what was on the cover, tried to tell you that before, dont want to listen to the Wicked Clown though.--1WickedClown (talk) 05:22, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Profile Picture

I sure would like to know what he looks like, but I don't know how to get a photo of him that I have in the article. Danny Boy 420 (talk) 21:20, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

The WWE commercial

It says that the WWE never aired the icp commercial but I do remember it being aired one time. The commercial featured the song Halls of Illusions and was aired on RAW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.141.153 (talk) 14:28, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Names

hey him and shaggy have lots more names than whuts listened and u can find refernces on youtube in there lyrics whoop whoop mcl —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.223.53.169 (talk) 19:14, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

The Alias section is for official stage names only, as in names that they performed or released albums under. Nicknames such as "Southwest Strangla" and "Duke of the Wicked" should not be listed because they never performed under them. For example, Kid Rock calls himself "American Badass," but he never released an album under the name American Badass. Thus, American Badass isn't listed as an alias. So the names listed are the only names that the two of them have performed under. I hope that clears everything up for you.Juggalobrink (talk) 21:04, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

WFW juggalo news show alias

I have added that his alternate name on the juggalo news show Weekly Freakly Weekly is Fats Pepper. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daniel16544 (talkcontribs) 02:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Image Request

I just uploaded a picture of Violent J on the main article page but it may already be taken down, can someone please upload a pic that doesn't conflict with copyright laws. JuggaloDan2013 (talk) 05:29, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
