Redirect rationale
[edit]@Blackfyr: I had redirected the article because at the time there were no sources to show how the album passes notability guidelines per WP:NALBUM. Albums do not automatically inherit notability because they are performed by a notable band - you have to show where it's received coverage in independent and reliable sources like reviews or articles in places like newspapers or websites that would pass muster at WP:RS/N. I'm aware that the band performs in a genre of music that doesn't typically gain a lot of coverage unless they're exceedingly well known. As a fan of genres like witch house and bands that perform music like Midnight Syndicate, I know how difficult it is for bands and albums to gain attention in places other than blogs and word of mouth.
If an article doesn't pass notability guidelines then there doesn't always have to be a discussion about it, especially if the page can serve as a redirect until sources can be added to the article. This could go through AfD, however that can backfire because then the redirect would be an official AfD decision and those can be fairly difficult to overturn since there's the expectation that it'd have to have a lot of sourcing at that point. It's frustrating, because I've seen situations where an article should pass notability guidelines, but because they'd been through AfD, the article had to have about twice the sources it otherwise would've. I have no problem with you restoring this with sourcing, but it really shouldn't be done before that. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:34, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
