Gelfand is the author of the first (and until yet the only one) diary of a Red Army member, which has got published in Germany on german language.

A spectacle is based on the book. The edition in Germany of “Deutschland-Tagebuch 1945-1946” is 50.000 copies. Why the article should be deleted is unclear?!?
