Major Researchers in VIV[edit]

This list of major researchers in VIV seems to be out of balance, considering the whole structure of the article. Although several of the named researchers are very renowned—and for a long time—on the subject, it is difficult to establish who is and who is not important enough to include in such an (arbitrary, to some extend) list. See e.g. WP:Lists#Listed_items and WP:NOT#DIR.
At the same time references are lacking (see WP:Verifiability). Therefore, I propose to remove this list, and add a section "Further reading" (see MOS:APPENDIX) with references to books and key articles regarding the subject. -- Crowsnest (talk) 21:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
