I seem to recall Young and Frampton appearing at more concerts than the Pearl Jam show.

Pearl Jam warmed up for this tour by playing 2 shows at the FleetCenter in Boston (now TD Banknorth Garden) on the 28th and 29th of September, with the same openers from the VFC tour. Should those shows be included? - (J0nas3 05:15, 1 March 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:VoteForChange.jpg[edit]

Image:VoteForChange.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Biased and inaccurate statement??[edit]

The statement that the tour "failed in its ultimate purpose of swaying the vote in battleground states" is inaccurate for two reasons:

1. Five of the ten battleground states that had shows (if one excludes states and districts that were not battlegrounds: Arizona, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia) went for Kerry (Washington, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin).

2. The concert series was a fundraiser and did not directly attempt to sway votes in the battlegrounds states. It would be impossible, for instance, to credit the tour for "swaying the vote" in any of the states that went in Kerry's column, nor would it possible to lay blame to the tour for costing votes in the battleground states that went in Bush's column (Ohio, Missouri, Iowa, North Carolina, and Florida). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Truthiness (talk • contribs) 03:52, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll set aside that half the claims made here are unsupported. At the moment, I've flagged

The tour was generally successful in attracting audiences, generating media attention and raising approximately $10 million for America Coming Together.

because the cited Rolling Stone article was published 11 Aug 2004, which seems… unlikely to have accurately predicted the profits from a series of shows that BEGAN six weeks later.

While I don't see anything particularly wrong about listing the venues, it's not made clear where the ticket and revenue data comes from. As such, I've flagged the entire section.
