Hello,

-There are too few (31) results for 'Jozef Meneder' on Google comparing with the fact that he is supposed to be a mass murderer. -Almost 100% of the results are pages made in Yugoslavia. -Non of the pages are from Hungary. -Non of the pages are in English except two pages of Wikipedia. -'Jozef Meneder' does not sound like a Hungarian name. -According to this site he died 5 years and 9 months before the massacre he committed. -There is a certain amount of racism in Yugoslavia against other nations within the border of Yugoslavia (as for example Hungarians). -The supposed massacre took place during the Yugoslavian war that was based on ethnic conflicts.

Considering these facts this article can easily be false. Is there anybody who can check the facts in this article?

Regards, Lollypop

Some answers

[edit]
- He was citizen of Serbia/FR Yugoslavia, why would Hungary be that much interested in crime happening, particularly far away from Hungarian border?
- His name does sound like Hungarian name. It is just spelled in Serbian here.
- I do not think that there is racism against Hungarians in Serbia. Hungarians in Serbia freely live, talk their language, getting education in Hungarian up to university level.
- Massacre happened during wars in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, happened in barracks in Serbia far away from war. He was just conscript, like thousands of others of all nationalities.
- Source in English, from UPI, in 1993: https://www.upi.com/Archives/1993/06/08/Soldier-commits-suicide-after-killing-wounding-comrades/3397739512000/ (also, reports on another murder/suicide by army conscript of ethnic Hungarian origin, in a different barracks same year).
