Propose rename

[edit]

Every scource I have shows that Duncan-Smith was and still is hyphenated; for accuracy and out of respect to the family the name of this article should be changed to W. G. G. Duncan-Smith. Minorhistorian (talk) 02:57, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a new article titled W. G. G. Duncan-Smith the material of which has been copied from this article. I have requested a Speedy Deletion (CSD G6 "non controversial move") of this article to avoid confusion. Minorhistorian (talk)
Oppose all official sources do not hyphenate his name and his son doesnt either. MilborneOne (talk) 19:17, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As the article has already been moved (after only a few hours of the proposal!!) I propose moving it back unless a reliable source is available that contradicts all the official ones! MilborneOne (talk) 19:18, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem - moved back. MilborneOne (talk) 08:01, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Smith or Duncan Smith?

[edit]

Both are used in the article, even in the same paragraph. The father (Wilfrid Arthur Smith) was a plain Smith, not a Duncan in sight. Did something happen?
