Does anyone know enough to start a snagboat article? I know congress allotted the Washignton USCoE the money to build the Skagit in 1881, which means there must have been a congressional effort for snagboats. The Montgomery in Alabama seems to be similar, and may have been funded in a similar way. Nicholas SL Smith (talk) 01:22, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
