more work needed[edit]

Having actually met Tayloe Murphy after I published this article years ago, I mourn his death. I write here to regret not having gotten around to writing a wikipedia article about his father, whose turnaround during Massive Resistance (and experience of retaliation per one book) he didn't want to talk about. This Virginia gentleman (who others claimed probably oversaw the execution of virtually all wills on the Northern Neck for decades) also politely educated me about the existence of a second Episcopal School in Lynchburg, though Alexandria is much closer to his home on the Northern Neck. So probably I could go back through all the articles I published and doublecheck that I got the right Virginia Episcopal School, just like I could go back and make sure I got the right Washington College for a number of Virginia political figures who lived a century or century and a half ago.

I know wikipedia now disfavors mentioning religious affiliation in infoboxes, but Cople Parish was also an important part of Mr. Murphy's life. His father is buried at historic Yeocomico Church, and I suspect either Tayloe has been or will be buried there. I believe he was active not only in Cople's vestry, and probably the NRHP designation of Yeocomico and Nomini Churches, but also in the episcopal diocese of Virginia. While my legal editing plate is full right now, I also need to note that he really showed me the best part of the legacy of the First Families of Virginia. If I can't find info about where he died and confirm his precise Episcopalian connections, I hope someone else can fill that missing part of the article.Jweaver28 (talk) 16:17, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
