Update needed — format change under not-so-new ownership
[edit]Some updates regarding WYRN are needed, I think. The station's Arbitron Station Information Profile says there's a gospel format now (but no website is given); WYRN is also now owned by Johnson Media Group, so obviously the sale to them from Curtis Media Group (of which New Century Media Group is one of its many subsidiaries), which is mentioned in the article has having been announced, is now complete. (And the station does not simulcast WQDR from Raleigh anymore. It never simulcast WQDR-FM of course, but I don't know if the simulcast survived the end of news/talk WDOX on 570 AM and its switch to classic country WQDR; obviously WYRN has never carried the brand-new all-comedy programming currently aired on what's now WFNL.) Someone with a bit more familiarity with WYRN may need to provide updates… --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 20:11, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
