Neutrality[edit]

This article reads life an anti-abortion pamphlet. Substantial rewrite required to bring up to standard. --Haruth (talk) 03:08, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

notability[edit]

how is being just one of many doctors notable? 65.0.48.249 (talk) 00:06, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because he is one of one doctors who perform partial birth abortions in the US. 74.33.16.134 (talk) 00:07, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More headings[edit]

The article states that there were threats. Threats of what? I read the article that was cited. However, if there were threats, this is one article that states of one, supposed threat.

What about Hern's statement that man is a "malignant eco-tumor"? Surely this demonstrates a clear radicalism.

Late-term abortionists are not looked upon as doing a good service. Tiller was an example of someone who was about to have his license revoked before he was horribly murdered.

There is another time where he called the pro-life movement, "a terrorist movement" on PBS.

Clearly, this man is no saint and this article should be better balanced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.103.221.52 (talk) 16:52, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded article[edit]

I have expanded the article, adding Dr. Hern's professional degrees (MD, MPH, PhD), his academic appointments, and a section on violence against him, with references. I have also added a reference for his volunteer work in Peru. Goblinshark17 (talk) 01:28, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have also expanded the PUBLICATIONS section, pointing out that Lippencott withdrew his book ABORTION PRACTICE because of threats of violence from right-to-lifers. Goblinshark17 (talk) 05:32, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
