Sorry, but my capability of English is not good enough to carry out these (and similar) modifications by myself. Thanks. --hdamm (talk) 07:04, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, somebody replaced the photo of Wat Suthat, but is a photo of Wat Amaravati (in England!) a better choice? --hdamm (talk) 07:41, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the photo and also made some minor modifications (Wikilinks, transcriptions from Thai). --hdamm (talk) 07:52, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong name for the temple

[edit]

At the entrance of this temple the name of the temple written as วัดบ้านปง which transcribes into Wat Ban Pong, using RTGS. This can be checked by using Streetview on Google Earth. So Wat Aranyawiwake (or better Wat Aranyawiwek which is the RTGS transcription of วัดอรัญญวิเวก) is a name by which the temple is also known. So the name of this article should be Wat Ban Pong.

It is not clear to me wether the relevance of this temple justifies its place in a world wide list of Buddhist temples (List of Buddhist temples) or even a separate article in Wikipedia. Nearby is a much more eleborate temple called Wat Ban Den.
