Early remarks

Wayfarer (possible disambiguation)

Wayfarer 2.2

Wayfarer is also an obsolete shell / shell extension for Windows 3.1x - is it worth disambiguating instead of redirecting?

I'll make a stubby for Wayfarer 2.2 anyway, as I thought it was completely lost Ace of Risk 18:17, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly the MS Windows extension is "non remarkable". Not every little bit of software needs an encylopedia entry! Billlion 07:04, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

logo/class symbol and schematic drawing

[edit]

We need a pictograph of the logo/class symbol for the infobox. A schematic drawing would also be good. 7&6=thirteen () 12:27, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Technical problem

[edit]

I have encountered problems in some recent edits on a couple of pages. Tried to make routine additions to Wayfarer (dinghy) of the following text: <no wiki>"An optional Asymmetrical spinnaker and spinnaker chute is available; also available is a "sail patch" which provides flotation for the mast in the vent of a capsize (and particularly to prevent mast inversion – Turtling."</nowiki> I did not intentionally touch anything in the footnotes. When I save it all of the footnotes were eliminated, which certainly was not my intention. I can't figure this out. Not sure if it is unique to me, a browser problem (I use Firefox, or if there is an issue on Wikipedia. I will also report this to the Village Pump technical people. 7&6=thirteen () 13:40, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is under discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 120#Technical problem. To avoid fragmenting the discussion, please join the discussion there instead of replying here. Thank you. – PartTimeGnome (talk | contribs) 21:11, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Thank you. I think it was resolved when I removed the one "gadget" I had open in my PREFERENCES. Apparently that was the source of the malfunction. 7&6=thirteen () 21:22, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest to move CL 16 to a separate page

[edit]

CL16s are not allowed to compete in Wayfarer events, it is a separate class. It does not comply to Wayfarer class rules. Also it is still an illegal copy, license fees have never been payed. Boats without a license cannot compete in wayfarer events even if they comply to the other class rules. If CL16 are on the Wayfarer page, then why not have Laser-2 on the Wayfarer page as well, or a Halberg Rassy or the Optimist class? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.90.76.130 (talk) 09:45, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There already is a separate page. CL 16. 11:27, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
