Continuity
[edit]Between the first and second paragraphs of the "Civil War" section, a regiment has miraculously become a brigade. How is this possible? Altgeld (talk) 17:56, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- It didn't, so I did some rewording. His command at the time of 2nd Bull Run was the cavalry of the Valley District, not officially a brigade; his first brigade command would be the 4th B, Cavalry Division, AoNV, that November. I'll expand more on his bio later, and try to find any refs to his Valley command being refered to as a brigade, but officially it seems it was not. Hope this answers your question!
