Addition of Primary Sources, Expansion of the Role of Women in the Mexican Revolution, and Updates on Mexican Female Activism

[edit]

After reading the article about Women’s suffrage in Mexico, it can be concluded that it does not include a lot of primary sources of women who struggled to receive suffrage. By including primary sources, it shows the reader a better understanding of the emotions behind the events that happened. By sharing a woman’s experience during this time period, it can demonstrate the hardships and obstacles they went through. Additionally, this article includes a section that explains the role of women in the Mexican Revolution, but does not include the role of soldaderas. It is crucial to include the soldaderas because they played a significant role in the revolution. By including this information, it can showcase the roles of women throughout important events in Mexican History. Next, the article includes a section on activism from the past, but does not include present-day activism. It is important to include information of female activism of the present-day to show the progress in gender equality. Therefore, these additions are important to make the article more representative of different perspectives and the role of women in Mexican history. It is important to also include the suffrage rights of minority groups such as indigenous women and their struggles for representation.
