Fair use rationale for Image:Wonkabar.gif

[edit]

Image:Wonkabar.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

US Wonka Bars

[edit]

The article implies that there were no US Wonka Bars following the 2005 movie. I remember a blue/purple wrapper that was some awful combination of chocolate and graham crackers. Anyone have a reference for this? Quine (talk) 16:58, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2010 -- we just purchased a "Golden Ticket" Wonka bar from Walgreens. They had two types, a milk chocolate crunch bar and a dark chocolate bar. Both were in purple wrappers. All words in English, and looked to be packaged specifically for US —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.16.49.203 (talk) 02:56, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A San Diego Based Acoustic Rock Band Sponsored by Jagermeister

[edit]

The band wONKA bAR formed in 1997 in Frisco Colorado with the two front men Patrick "Archie" Archbold and Chris Caudle. After moving to San Diego they continued to grow their fan base until they became a very well known local band throughout the early 2000's. They have opened and played with many national acts including Cracker, The Gin Blossoms, Tim Reynolds and Eek-a-mouse. When MP3.com was first introduced in 1998 wONKA bAR quickly became one of their top selling/downloaded artists. Jagermeister took notice of the band in 2001. With a uncommon departure from their usual, more hard hitting, heavy style bands, Jagermeister took wONKA bAR under their wing and helped them to grow and be viewed by a new audience. With 2 full length LP's and one currently in the works, wONKA bAR is more than just a flash in the pan band. They may never be rock giants like some of the more famous bands of their day, but they do have enough fans to be considered very successful by anyone's standards. wONKA bAR is Kevin Boyd-bass, Chris Caudle-Lead guitar/vocals, Bryon Andersen-Drums, Claudio Gutierez-Percussion and Archie-Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wonkaba (talkcontribs) 05:17, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Purple Chocolate

[edit]

I seem to recall that when I was in primarry school (1997-2003) that there was a wonka candy bar out. It was purple and had green crackles in it. Does any one else remember this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.204.54 (talk) 08:25, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Err...

[edit]

Why does the table on this page list "Available in the US", and nothing else but International availability? I'm getting so sick of US-centric stuff on Wikipedia.

Yeah, that table is ridiculous. Deleting. C Teng(talk) 15:49, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
