Store locations

It may be a massive undertaking, but do you think we could possibly make a second page listing former store locations? TenPoundHammer 23:23, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea - to start, here are some former locations, in Canada:

- Markville Shopping Centre, Markham, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- Agincourt Mall, Scarborough, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- Morningside Mall, Scarborough, Ontario (later Wal-Mart, building now demolished)
- Dufferin Mall, Toronto, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- Thorncliffe Park (East York Town Crentre), East York, Ontario (now Zellers)
- Towne & Countrye (Centerpoint Mall), North York, Ontario (now Loblaws)
- Honeydale Mall, Etobicoke, Ontario (later Wal-Mart)
- Square One, Mississauga, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- Meadowvale Town Centre, Mississauga, Ontario (later Wal-Mart, building now demolished)
- Yonge Street, Newmarket, Ontario (later Wal-Mart); the last Woolco store opened in Canada, ca. 1992
- Downtown Barrie Ontario (later The Bargain Shop)
- Fairview Park, Kitchener, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- Weber Street, Waterloo, Ontario (property redeveloped)
- White Oaks Mall, London, Ontario (now Wal-Mart)
- North Gate Mall, Regina, Saskatchewan (Later Wal-Mart, now Zellers)
- Shoppers Mall Brandon, Brandon, Manitoba (Later Wal-Mart, now Zellers)
- Easttown Plaza, Windsor, Ontario (later Wal-Mart, building now demolished when new location built). Gateway Plaza, Windsor, Ontario.

Hiding list

Can someone teach me how to do those hiding lists? I've tried copy-pasting the "hidden" and "hidden end" tags from other lists and it's never worked. TenPoundHammer 17:05, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Woolco list

There are serious format errors on the Canada list. Some locations are out of order, and some uncenyclopedic bits are in there, like "not converted to wal-mart". Ten Pound Hammer • ^{(((Actions • Words)))} 22:20, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Should the list be included at all?

I'll go first. What exactly is the purpose of the list? Basically, most locations became a Walmart which it says in the article already. What does the list add? If nothing, I'm in favor of removing.RevelationDirect (talk) 11:47, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
