[edit]Hello. See that Word World from PBS KIDS needs a page but I need help making it. If anyone can do it, that'll be great. (70.107.142.109 22:02, 10 August 2007 (UTC))
Cleanup Required?
[edit]Some of the grammar on this page is truly atrocious...how do we note it as needing cleanup/copyediting?67.96.20.158 (talk) 15:35, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
This page has been the victim of serious vandalism. Many of the characters listed are fake and the title picture is from Cars. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.31.225.221 (talk) 02:27, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Questions
[edit]Is there a more technical term than "comprised of the letters that spell them"? Also, I think I once saw a mobile phone ad on UK TV where everything was just the words that spelt them e.g.: a taxi was literally just the words "TAXI" standing in 3D in the middle of the street. --85.92.162.87 22:12, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Is the series over? Will there be more episodes? When? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.142.239.11 (talk) 19:11, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Upcoming episodes
[edit]There's a way to know what episodes are coming up. If you have a DVR, like TiVO or something, you can move several hours ahead and check out the names of the episodes. Tomorrow, two segments, "Robots to the Rescue!" and "Radio Read-a-Thon," are expected to air. They sound like decent names for episodes, don't they? See the description on the DVR for yourself, it never lies when it displays PBS show descriptions. --Secret C (talk) 18:48, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, those have already aired (late Feb?) and yes, they are real titles of real episodes. However, given the error rate I've encountered with my Comcast DVR's descriptions and scheduling, I'll respectfully disagree with the "it never lies" comment above. I would be EXTREEEEEMELY hesitant before attempting to use anything Comcast said as "verifiable" sources. Also, if the episode hasn't aired and isn't listed in a reliable source, we can't add it--WP:VER is clear on that.Gladys J Cortez 19:07, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
What's the original song?
[edit]Anybody know the original version of the song that the show's "it's time to build a word" song is based on? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.152.141.229 (talk) 11:50, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Proposed removal of "Episode Descriptions"
[edit]I'd like to suggest removing this section. It's basically a schedule of every episode aired, ever (whether the whole thing, half, or none of it was new), and there are no descriptions at all. It seems kind of pointless, and takes up excess space in the article. At the very least, it should be moved to a related List of WordWorld episodes article. Excessive fanon and vandalism (Fandalism?)

User:2601:405:4202:E400:3C16:2DC3:E801:B30A has been vandalizing this article with fanon as well as random jibber-jabber. I noticed that a bunch of episodes in Season 2 were added with titles like "Fireworks Kapow" and "Delivery Kapow", which don't even remotely sound like real WordWorld episodes. They also have 2014-2018 date, which the show ended a long time ago. Other episodes are just complete nonsense. "I'm Palex/Emax/Me Water/Effereffa, Welcome Fish/Mei/Mei War/Mei Super War/Vizzers £# Bug" After searching the word "Kapow" on WikiBlame, I found this. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=WordWorld&diff=prev&oldid=825365786 He's also responsible for the other episode additions. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=WordWorld&diff=prev&oldid=826210032 He even kept putting the episodes back after Ronhjones and User:115.164.72.93 reverted the changes. This person needs to be stopped. --MikeTheCoolOne (talk) 09:21, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
- @MikeTheCoolOne: thanks for this report. On checking I found that this vandal has been active since last October, mainly on the article Sing-a-ma-jigs, but also on a couple of others, using several IP addresses in the 2601:405:4202:E400: ... range. I have blocked the range for 6 months. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 09:39, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Semi-protection, vandalism, and why?
[edit]I remembered that I undid an edit here, removing Disney Junior from the original broadcasters. Now weeks and months later, I find that the page is protected. Did somebody make vandalism on this page? Did any IP vandals edit this page? Did anyone blank the page? I guess it is because of all that. The protection was made by EvergreenFir on 25 June 2020. Must be an IP vandal like 2600:1700:36A0:D250:A0B8:D839:71A8:51A or 210.186.65.233, who both made disruptive edits on the page. With the help of Twinkle, she added a protection template so she can to prevent vandalism to popular pages. (TW) Edits such as 219.92.110.166 and 2601:6C3:4080:1C60:A914:4651:4A0C:183C adding content from Family Guy is also the reason why the page can be semi-protected. 148.74.247.125 (talk) 22:46, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
