Look across a subset of "workshop"

FWIW I've started a user page to look at "workshop" as used in the "educational" and "office" settings described in the disambiguation list. It may at some point be useful to have some sort of cross-cutting description of the term as used across a range of contemporary activities that are not connected with a long-term physical space.--A11n-research (talk) 18:00, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I have re-organised the disambiguation page to group together terms related to this meaning. We could have a an over-arching article for that group of meanings. It could be called Workshop (activity) and start with something like "A workshop is a type of group activity intended to enable idea generation and the sharing of skills and other knowledge."
